Product Warranty

Terms for the NexGen 8K Streaming Box.

NexGen warrants the NexGen Box hardware product against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally in accordance with NexGen’s published guidelines for a period of [1] year from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user purchaser.

1. Coverage Period

The standard warranty period for the NexGen Box is One (1) Year from the date of original purchase. Proof of purchase is required to obtain service under this warranty.

2. What is Covered

This Limited Warranty covers:

  • Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
  • Hardware failures that prevent the device from functioning as intended.
  • Necessary repair or replacement parts/units for covered defects.

NexGen will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the product with a new or refurbished unit of equal or greater functionality.

3. What is NOT Covered (Exclusions)

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, liquid contact, earthquake, or other external causes.
  • Cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents, and broken plastic on ports, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
  • Damage caused by operating the product outside NexGen’s published guidelines.
  • Service performed by anyone who is not a representative of NexGen or a NexGen Authorized Service Provider.
  • A product that has been modified without the written permission of NexGen.
  • Theft, loss, or disposable parts (such as batteries in the remote control).
  • Software, even if bundled with the hardware.

4. How to Obtain Warranty Service

To obtain warranty service, you must contact NexGen Customer Support within the warranty period:

  3. Supply the original proof of purchase (sales receipt).

EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEXGEN IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF USE; LOSS OF REVENUE; LOSS OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS ON CONTRACTS); LOSS OF THE USE OF MONEY; LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS; LOSS OF BUSINESS; LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY; LOSS OF GOODWILL; OR LOSS OF REPUTATION.

6. Consumer Law

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state or country to country. Where any term of this warranty is prohibited by such laws, it shall be null and void, but the remainder of the warranty shall remain in full force and effect.
